Our Beautiful 7 Acre Woodland Site
Our woodland site is surrounded by open pasture with a mixture of mature trees and newer growth and an abundance of wildlife.
In 2011 we invested and set up our very own forest school on the prestigious Quex Park Estate, nr Margate in Kent. Our vision was to provide local primary schools a wonderful opportunity to experience the benefits of outdoor learning.
We now have over 70 schools bringing class groups to our site for regular forest school sessions and fun day trips.
We have 4 sites spanning across the 7-acres. These 4 sites allow us to run individual, planned sessions for many classes across the school day.
We have fire circles, mud kitchens, tools areas, zip wires, imaginative play areas, climbing trees, outside eating areas and a wonderful on-site farm with our very own pigs, goats, chickens and ducks. Our animals are for the children to enjoy and to learn. We don’t ‘farm’ our animals..
We also have log cabins, ‘proper’ toilets and mains electricity and hot water and are proud to employ many fully qualified Level 3 Forest School Practitioners who plan and guide all the children’s sessions.

Nestled alongside our 7acre forest school site is our Ofsted registered nursery...
Set within in its own ¾ acre site woodland site. This is for pre-school children aged 3-5yrs.
Here we incorporate the forest school ethos into all of our practice.
We call this the Kindergarten Nursery, and is for parents who may wish to choose an outdoor nursery for the additional health benefits or, may choose to supplement their child’s learning by incorporating some outdoor woodland learning alongside traditional indoor nursery school.
Set amongst the trees, the children also have their own mud kitchens, imaginative play areas, fire circles and outside eating area, and 3 magical wooden buildings.
