A stimulating woodland experience, designed to promote a sense of well-being in a stress relieving, calming and peaceful environment.

Forest school has a known track record, globally, in vastly improving the mental-health and well-being of children and adults.

Our beautiful 7 acre woodland site on the Quex Park Estate in Birchington, has proven to be a stress relieving, calming and peaceful environment for young people and adults across Kent, who have benefited from our site since 2011. Therefore, we’re providing something new and stimulating to a senior activity programme.

Our aims for the Senior Well-Being Trips, are:

Help improve well-being, mobility, mood, general health and create a sense of achievement.

Offer an opportunity for intergenerational play with some of our 3 & 4 year olds and create a sense of community.

Reconnect with nature in a woodland environment, and to remember many hours spent playing as a child.

Create a joyful existence in senior years.

Opportunity to meet senior residents from other organisations.
